Dec 10 2007	Active mark award The active mark award has been received because of the exceptional delivery of the National Sport Strategy. This means that at least 90% of children were doing 2 hours high quality PE and school sport each week.

Mar 25 2008	Merger of West Blatchington Infant and Junior Schools The council have put forward a formal consultation to merged the two schools. This will now take 6 weeks for the council to receive any objections to the proposal. The new primary school will still be housed in the existing accomodation until a plan for new buildings is drawn up.
Apr 4 2008	Rockinghorse appeal We have heard to day that our special brick is to be installed at the new children's hospital in Brighton. Thank you to all the families who paid for tickets for our Christmas Nativity, so that we could support the appeal.
Apr 24 2008	School closed for Children Due to the teacher's strike action the school will be closed for all children.
May 3 2008	The Children's Parade We shall be meeting at 10.30 to take part in the Brighton Children's Parade. If your children are not taking part come and support us by standing along the route.
